mercedes c230 engine suddenly stop running after i turn on air conditioner

if the Freon pump seized it would hold the drive belt back and stall from idle

it is happen to me while i am driving the engine stop and whine i park by side after that the engine does not start again the battery is ok but there is no sound of starter
