Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a 1997 Honda prelude and only way it will
start is if ecu is at room temperature. Is my ecu
bad?

Forgot to say I just swapped motor but to the same a h22a4 engine

I suppose it might be bad but it could be a bad connection to the ECU or an engine sensor that has gone bad. Is the check engine light on? Codes?

No check engine lights no codes nothing I can heat it up with a blow dryer and it starts great but if the ecu is cold it will just crank

I would pull the ECU plugs and look for moisture and corrosion. See if they fit tight or if they are loose.
