Fuel filter

Does my 2006 Silverado have a fuel filter or is it built into
the fuel pump itself I’ve looked everywhere for it and can’t
find it.

Those trucks have the filter mounted to the fuel pump in the tank. Shouldn't have to worry about servicing it over it's lifetime. If you're having fuel flow issues the pump may be the cause. You'll have to drop the tank and pull the entire pump assembly out to change the filter and if you're going that far anyways; it's smarter to just replace the pump then since the tank is already on the ground.
