Honda Fit Window Washer Container

Asked by GuruPP3CV Jan 25, 2020 at 03:26 PM about the 2016 Honda Fit EX

Question type: General

How much liquid does the window washer reservoir hold?  It seems I use the
window washers to clean the windows four times or less and it's out of fluid
again. When I pour fluid into it it doesn't hold much, like half a cup or less.
What's the total volume it should hold?

When it is empty, measure how much it takes. Apparently is it quite small.

Afraid that wasn’t any help at all. I was trying to find out the volume the washer reservoir is supposed to hold. I thought a Honda user might know. Thanks for trying though.

Not more than a gallon: i just put in 8 oz of concentrated wiper fluid (sub-0 stuff i needed to use up) + "around" 112 oz of water from various containers -- < a gallon seems high but 1 brita pitcher and 2 water bottles worth = that!

It hardly holds anything, maybe a cup, and needs to be filled too frequently. My previous car was a Toyota and it took almost a gallon.

I don't think anyone here actually owns a honda fit. I have a fit 2019 Lx and I have been struggling with this question as well. The part number is HO1288213 (2015- 2019 part) but I can't find any info on volume. I just emptied 1 gallon of fluid in and I still didn't see anything near the fill line. I have never seen the low fluid indicator. I have no clue how any of these users think it's low. (The listing mentions 1.5L, that's the engine size, not fluid. I mention this because people here don't seem to know what they're talking about) the picture in the listing looks F-ing humongous. Like 4 gallons lol. I'm honestly starting to believe it. I've dumped in 2 gallons over 4 years and have never seen either a fluid line or a low fluid indicator. Low key, thinking it's either stored in the cloud, or in some other dimension.. Google the part number though.
