A/C wont charge

I have a 2015 Kia Optima. The A/C went out. My
guy friend thought it may need freon. Put it in, it
worked 3 days and blew hot air. He then stated it
wouldn't charge so I needed to take it to be
repaired. The compressor and condensor are
working fine. What could be wrong?

Yup, definitely need the system leak checked. A vacuum test of the system or addition of leak detection into the system will help determine the problem.
