2015 Subaru Forester Tail Lights Automatically come on

Asked by phooz Oct 12, 2019 at 09:09 AM about the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Premium

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At night, after I get home the lights are off.  I go to bed and they're off.  I wake up in the morning and see red, the lights are on.  Today, I didn't get to it fast enough and my battery is dead.  There is no switch that I can find.  HELP!  Recently cold weather has caused the hill assist system needs to be checked sensor to activate.  Time to go to the shop?

Another bizarro F/Imp/CT problem. Check with dealer, as they see a lot of these JDM one- offs.

Did you find a solution? Mine is doing the exact same thing down to the hill start assist system light. I also have a 2015
