parasitic draw from radio when it is turned off!

I agree. It might be more than the radio. Disconnect the radio fuse and see if problem stops. Disconnect the battery and see if that makes a difference. The battery may have an internal short and will die regardless....even disconnected. If you can not leave it sit three days, at least measure voltage drop overnight, disconnected.
