Can you please help with a couple of issues?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The key turns forward but not enough to start the car and I can not remove the
key. Lights are dim, windshield wipers moving in slow motion, and brake shoe is
stuck in the down position. My first thought is a bad battery, but what is keeping
the key from being removed from the ignition? Thanks for your help with these
issues.

With your foot on the brake, Move the shifter to neutral and push it back into park. Make sure it is fully engaged and see if you can remove the key. I would then charge the battery up and or go for a long drive.
