Bubbling and swooshin noise coming from my dash

That is your coolant boiling or an air pocket in the cooling system. The heater core is in the dash, it works like a mini radiator, engine coolant passes through it just like it does in the radiator in the front of your car. You need to get the cooling system sorted out, check the degas bottle (the reservoir bottle) connected to the radiator for proper level. If level appears good, you may have a flow problem, could be the thermostat is bad or air is trapped, or water pump is failing. If you aren't able to work on the car yourself, get it into a shop asap, they should have you sorted out pretty quick for a nominal fee.

Just to reiterate, don't keep driving it and letting it run hot/overheat, that can shorten an engine's life.
