Shaky driver side front end

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On the driver front end it has a weird shake I can't
seem to shake. I've rotated the tires tried a
different rim and the brakes and rotors are fine. I'm
at a lost.

Alignment and balancing of tires? Bad ball joints? Weak struts?

Any play in wheel when jacked up? Bad wheel bearings? Do they sound like sand in wheel when spinning wheel?

I believe now that it is the sway bar. How do you know if you need to replace the actually sway bar. Clearly I can tell the links and bushings need to be

I also check the tie rods and ball joints everything's seems good. Tires are balanced

I have only seen a sway bar needing to be changed if it is broke or noticeably bent that you can tell. The links go bad all the time and that can cause a rattle.

Checking the alignment will definitely be a necessity. The bushings and links are bad which I read could cause rattling when you accelerate which I'm sure isn't helping

Those cars have super tight rear ends and if you happen to throw a strut or shock in the front either side you get the feeling like a basketball dribbling which worsens in time. You hit a slight bump and the front end goes very high in the air. Its because the rear end is stabilized differently and its more solid. The steering and alignment in the front go out with potholes and normal wear and tear. Be sure to have the shock strut on both sides replaced and that the wheels are always at the proper tire pressure. Avoid curbs and potholes if possible, don't drive in the highways truck lanes which are commonly more tore up then the inner faster lanes and I bet you the front won't feel like its lifting up off a frame of suspension or a tire feels like its dribbling and shaking all the time. Let me know if that helps because I am just a girl, not a mechanic but I know fords and I know how to drive junk too (crown vics are not junk) so I know what my cheap ass boyfriends put under me to drive around! That alone can teach you so much about these cars!!! Good luck!
