Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It has been running great never gave me any problems. All of a sudden yesterday I was driving and I heard a loud "POP" and right after it started sputtering like its was the exhaust or something and my check engine light started blinking. could I possibly be a sensor or spark plugs? it so loud even when car is in park its just shaking and makinh this noise like its misfiring

It may have ejected or partially ejected a spark plug. Check the plugs to see if they are all still tight.
