missing spring for center arm console latch

I recently broke my center arm console latch, and had to go to dealer to
purchase another one for $12.00.  During the installation I lost the spring and
looked high and low in my car and could not find it.  Dealer said that in order
to get replacement spring I must purchase a center arm console from the
factory for $400.00.  Anyone have any suggestions where I could find this part
cheaper. Spring looks like it should cost no more than a few dollars, surprised
dealer does not stock them.

Thanks for the advice. I will check salvage yards to see if I can find one. They also sell center arm console as one unit but atleast it is only $50 to $75.00. I will pass on removing seats. I wish they were not electric and my carpet was not black, since it is very difficult reaching underneath seats as it is so tight and dark, and hard to see even with flash light.

I hit a piece of tar sticking out of a pothole - it was a very hard hit...I got to where I was going and checked the car. The front tire had a bulge so I called AAA. They sent me to NTB who replaced the tire and moved it to the rear. The front end was aligned and the car does not feel right.
