93 geo tracker speedometer not working

I recently bought a 93 geo tracker and shortly after
the speedometer stopped working and I’m some
what familiar with the problem since the same
happened to my 97 I fixed that with a new cable but
when I put the new cable in the 93 it didn’t help I’m
stumped maybe the gear is bad?

MY 96 TRACKER HAD THE SPEEDO GEAR IN THE TRANY WORN OUT. HARD TO FIND. BUT FOR $50 YOU CAN GO TO WWW.PATC.COM AND HAVE ONE IN 3 DAYS. IT WAS REALLY EXPENSIVE. BUT HAD TO GET IT.
