Why is my check transaxle light blinking?

I have a 2003 Ford Taurus and the check transaxle light comes on and blinks if
I drive for 30 mins or more in the inner city. When I got my codes run the only
code that came up was the Catalytic converter code (p0430). What's wrong
with the car?
