Dash Cluster 1988 pontiac Grande Prix 2.8 litre LE

i have 3 dash lights that stay on when my car is running, temp, oil pressur, seat
belt, and my tacometer is at its top peak, but no high idle, the gauges are not
positioning to zero when the car is shut off

Sounds like a bad ground for the instrument cluster. Do you have an aftermarket stereo? If so, check that first. Hope that helps! Jim
