2003 Ford Focus has ZERO electrical power!

Asked by rcalli3z Jan 12, 2014 at 12:36 PM about the 2003 Ford Focus ZTS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove my 2003 Ford Focus home from work, at lunch for 10 minutes and jumped back into the car. When I turned the key all the lights flashed at me 2 or 3 times and then the car went completely dead. It will not turn over at all and there is NO electrical power. The power locks are also dead so I can only open the driver door with the key. Virtually NOTHING works. Can anyone give me an idea of what is going on?

Sounds like bad connection with main power wether it power or ground side possible battery but i doubt it so get into it via locksmith hammer to window but not the little one or however you get into it to open hood and check batt power to power distribution box ill bet you find the problem pretty close and quick
