HELP NEEDED

IVE GOTTA 92 DODGE DAKOTA 3.9LITRE V6  IVE HAD
THE TIMING CHAIN REPLACED  AND THE CRANK CASE
SENSOR REPLACED. BATTERY IS FAIRLY NEW BUT MY
TRUCK IS BACKFIRING AND SHUTTING THE ENGINE
DOWN QIUTE FREQUENTLY ALSO RPM GAIGE TENDS
TO COME ON AND OFF BY ITSELF AS WELL AS
SPEEDOMETER AND DASH LIGHTS TRYING TO BACK
OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY THE OTHER DAY IT DIED AND
KILLED MY HEADLIGHTS TOTALLY CAN SOME
SOMEONE OFFER ANY ADVICE PLEASE???!!

Well the backfiring & shutting down sounds like a timing issue, then again the dash & lights sounds like a electrical issue, Recheck it all, be sure you have good engine to frame grounds even if you have to route new ones, Were any of these issues happening before the timing chain was replaced?

I WAS TOLD POSSIBLY REPLACE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IN THE DASH BUT WASNT SURE IF THAT WOULD FIX THE BACK FIRING OR NOT? I JUST DID A CONPLETE TUNE UP A YEAR AGO ON IT PLUGS WIRES CAP BUG EVERYRHING EVEN FUEL FILTER I NORMALLY REPALCE ALL THAT STUFF YEARLY

THE BACK FIRING BWAS HAPPENING BEFOR TIMING CHAIN WAS REPLACED THEN WE FOUND THE CRANKCASE SENSOR TO BE BAD AND REPLACED THAT DIDNGOOD FOR ALMOST A YEAR THEN IT STARTED HAPPENING AGAIN
