Battery

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm leaving on vacation in a few days. Leaving the
truck home. I don't want to come home to a flat
battery, so should I put a maintenance charger on
it. If so how should I set the charger?

If you decide to buy a battery maintainer just hook it up and plug it in. Do not use a trickle or regular battery charger. They charge all the time and may damage the battery by overcharging it. If you will only be away for a week or two, I wouldn't worry about doing anything.

You can get a trickle charger that will shut off itself when fully charged
