1994 Dodge Intrepid wet weather stalling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1994 Dodge Intrepid with 3.5L V-6 runs rough, bucks, then stalls repeatedly, only when raining.
My mechanic thinks it might have something to do with ignition module or computere module.
Any ideas what might cause this? Car has 134,000 miles on it and is in good condition.
New fuel pump; new radiator; new timing belt/gear. Appreciate suggestions.

I agree with your mechanic. it could also be a crank sensor/throttle sensor. but I would put money on the module

Agreed, although, have you checked the distributor cap? If cracks and wear have allowed moisture to condense inside the cap you may have a problem like this.

plugs or wires or cap. had the same thing happen, mine misfired if #4 because it had a cracked wire and water got in there and misfired so my car would shake because it was missing when it was wet
