Will a 1987 Mustang 302 engine work in a 1987 Bronco

My 1987 Bronco has the 302 EFI engine. I am going to put in a remanufactured engine  Will the 1987
Mustang engine fit my truck. My truck has the C6 tranny. The Mustang engine has more horsepower.

Physically if it's about the same, maybe we will luck out on motor mounts and steering column location. Probably is just a bolt-right-in situation. Appears to be so based on available engines~

The block is the same, so yes, the Mustang engine will fit. I believe the fuel injection is the same, as is the computer, so it should be a very straight forward conversion.

It will bolt right in,the only difference are the head,but it should bolt right up,with minimal adjustments
