What is the procedure in changing into 4 wheel drive on Dogde Dakota autmatic?

Do I have to not only put it in neutral but also turn off engine to engage 4 wheel drive high and low?

Probably all you need to do is put the transmission in neutral to shift into 4WD with an electric shift transfer case.
