2013 vw jetta the battery went dead jump it drove to car place to replace battery said battery was good

battery was good is what the good said advance auto, drove for an hour then
park it  went back out had to jump it again.

Test the alternator jump your car and disconnect the positive battery terminal if your car stays running your alternator is good if it dies you need New one hope this helps
