2013 Volkswagen Jetta - Doors will not lock and trunk will not open

None of the doors in my 2013 Jetta will lock. Pressing the "lock" button on the
inside creates a locking sound, but does not work. Pressing the "lock" button on
my key fob causes my lights to flash, but no doors are actually locked. Locking
the doors with the physical key causes the lights to flash and the car to honk,
but the doors still will not lock. What could be the problem?

Don't know , i just had the problem , all i can help you with is there rubber latch woth key makrked remove it and you will find plastic thingy pit your key in it and seitch then close the door , it will lock and you can't open it even if the car is open
