Are there better headlights for a 1500 Sierra Truck?

When driving in the dark country areas, it feels like there is a lid on the lights.  
No side lighting at all.  Are there replacement bulbs or lenses that will increase
the field of view?

Upgrade the bulbs and do not buy any of those aftermarket headlight assemblies or you will really be unhappy. I have a 2014 Dodge Ram with similar issues and upgrading the bulbs helps. I recommend Philips Extreme Vision available at www.rockauto.com

I have an '11 and it appears the design clips the top of the lights to keep them out of the eyes of oncoming traffic. You can always adjust the headlights UP to raise that clip point but oncoming traffic may think you have on your brights. Overall, I like my lights ....especially on bright (I live rural) and sometime it is really dark out there.
