Weird Hyundai sonata 2013 se problems

Asked by Drivincali May 28, 2020 at 12:09 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Sonata SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i was driving my car home on the freeway going
70 when all the sudden i felt a light jerk in the car
and at the same time my rpm (tachometer) neddle
droped to 0 while driving also the slip indicator
light/ traction control light came on. Also when i
try to acelerate fast or past 65 my car begins to
hessitate and feels like its running outa gas or
somthing . When i turn off the car and turn it back
on the problems go away untill i start driving
around 60 for like 15 min and they start again after
the distinct jerk. No check engine light at all or any
codes i could pick up with the OBD11 scanner. I
went to autozone and got battery tested they said
its good but my alternators voltage regulator did
not pass could this be the source of all my issues?

I would issue a complaint to https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#vehicle/form-submit Hopefully enough of us will complain about this issue and some sort of fix or recall will be made
