New discovery with 2013 Altima, CVT issues...
I took my car to a local auto shop for suspected transmission issue. They
called me to tell that yes, the sevro in the CVT is bad and they can NOT
repair due to NO parts to repair. I called the local Nissan dealer and the
service writer told me, without hesitation, that they would replace the
transmission for $4,156. I still owe $10,000 on this car.
This seems to a built in obsolesce at every 100,000 miles, event. Does
everyone have $4,156, to spend to get a another CVT ? only to have to
fork out another $4,156 in another 100,000?
What other folks have experienced this unfortunate event? What are you
doing to deal with this?
