Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I lost the fob and only have the metal part of the key fob that goes in the
ignition. Can i start my car without the fob? I know i needed the fob to start
the car but since I lost it i was hoping i can find a by pass and get it started
cause i cant afford to get a new one made right now. I used it broke for
awhile and just held the black unlock botton  part of the fob in my palm when
i started the car for a while but now that i lost that part and only have the
actual key the car wont turn over.

You need a new Fob, contact your Mitsubishi dealer. The metal key will only unlock the doors.
