My girlfriend has a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado xlt and wants to put a little bigger wheels without adding anything else..what size would u recommend? 19? 20?

Your best bet would be to go to a good tire dealer and they can help you on what will fit without any modification. Rims is what you are asking about to increase size, and tires go on the larger rims. If you buy a package or rims and tires, at times there is a discount to buy a combination. You can go up two rim sizes but the tires is what may be an issue. Too wide they may rub, and destroy a good set of tires.
