my 2004 dodge neon rt keeps code shooting po172 fuel to rich, what is couseing this

Check for codes first. Does the car have issues holding idle when cold at times ? If your answer is yes, I would tell you to replace the IAC (Idle Speed Controller) or IAC (Idle Air Controller) depending on what your auto has, and then check or replace your fuel pressure regulator.
