With an E24 BMW M635 CSi M88/3 engine (euro) when upgrading from the single row chain to a dual row ( from the 3.8 340 Bhp S38 M5 engine) is any modification of the timing chain cover required?

My only thoughts on this mod would be is there enough room to accomodate the extra width and twin sprockets required, you may have to replace the timng chain covers aswell as the sprockets, guides, tensioner and duplex chain itself.
