2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 Navi Window Tinting

Asked by barrisimo Aug 03, 2010 at 09:52 AM about the 2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 with Nav

Question type: Car Customization

The Honda manual for the 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 Navi states that we should not tint the back window because of interference with the Navi system.  Is this true based on your experience; I want to tint all the windows.  Advice please.

My 2008 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 Navi had back windows tinted near 100% and had no problem with Navi, but I would not recommend to tint it so dark, it was very hard to see behind even during the day ! Now I changed for new Nissan 370Z, i have no problem to see behind, but it's hard to see on sides !

Metlic based tints are the one ones you will run into problems with.
