what engine parts should I check for code P0441 on a 2006 dodge stratus?

my engine light comes on and gets code P0441...light does not stay on for long and there is no driveability issues...however, when idle, the engine sometimes sputters as if it wants to die but never does...when it's spttering and I hit the gas it hesitates as if it's not getting the gas it needs to take off...
