Camshaft sensors or solenoid

Question type: General

Car runs great for the most part drives for a few
hours a day then won't start and stay running code
is p0010 replaced camshaft oil changed and tune
up still having the same problem can it be the
sensors or solenids please help I'm going crazy

Check oil pressure when cold and see if pressure holds after it worms up, these cars have a VCT (variable camshaft timing). that works with oil pressure, if prssure drops it can't actuvate timing solenoids to adjust the timing and throw a camshaft sensor fault P0010, P0011, 13 or 14. P0010 is intake camshaft sensor. If pressure is ok, could be timing chains or VCT solenoids
