I have a 2002 AWD Buick Rendezvous with a bad 3.4 ohv motor. Is it possible to replace it with a 3.1 out of a 1998 Grand Prix? If so, what if anything do I need to change? Any help will be appreciated

Yes and No. Yes you can but you would have to change the bcm, ecm, a lot of wire looms, mounting bracket, motor mounts ect. So no I wouldn't recommend it. It would be so much easier to get a 3.4 engine out of a junk yard. They were put in many GM vehicles. Grand Am, Impala, Monte Carlo, Aztek, Venture, Silhouette, Montana, Equinox and of course the Rendezvous. I think that's all of them. I hope that helps you.
