Wet front floorboards

Why would my Front floor boards be soaked? Tried repeatedly to wet vac...it
only makes it worse by pulling up .... what looks like filthy muddy water into the
carpet. This started on Friday during a rainstorm.....any possible connection?

Do you have a sunroof? Is it the driver or passenger side - or both? If it is the passenger side only or mostly, check to be sure your ac condenser line is not clogged. To check, start the car and turn on the AC. After a few minutes you should see water drip underneath the car on the passenger side. If you so not see water, then the condenser line is likely clogged. You will need to get under the car (use a jack stand or ramps, not just a jack) and find the line and clear it using a vacuum or an air hose to blow the obstruction out of the way. If you have a sunroof, also check the drain holes for it. They are located in both of the front corners of the sunroof. To test if this is your issue, open the sunroof and pour water on the corners and see whether it drips out of the bottom under the doors or whether it winds up inside. If neither of these are the issue, you will need to use a water hose and run it on different sections of the car until you find the leak.
