Engine still running after removing key

Replace ignition cylinder, problem still exist

Replaced the wrong part, you needed to replace and adjust the switch.

Back in the day I heard of voltage back feeding through the Amp meter keeping the coil hot

Actually it was the ignition switch that I replaced. Today I removed an after market remote starter, still continues to run.
