gas not going into gas tank 07 ram

while putting gas into the pick-up the nozzle kicks off repeatedly

You have a cracked filler neck. Order a new one from the dealer. They wear out over time

If you are not leaking gas from the filler neck it does not need to be replaced. It more than likely has to do with the charcoal filter and the EVAP system that would need to be looked at.
