Rear end npise

Between 30 and 45 mph there's a roaring from the rear end. When you get to
those speeds and let off accelerator you hear it and what sounds like a out of
balance WA WA WA . a mechanic said i can't remember exactly that a inner and
outer something that could cause the axle to come out. I'm stumped and need
to fix. Can't let that happen.

This is nothing to mess around with. Something is wrong with the rear end, being a wheel bearing, or the differential going out. Just need to check it out. Does not sound safe to drive.
