Chrysler 2.7 Timing Belt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2005 Chrysler Sebring GTC 2.7 V6 with
48,000. I thought I would need a timing belt soon
but the owner's manual doesn't mention it at all. Do
I have a timing chain instead of a belt?

A quick Google search reveals that engine has a chain, not a belt. Belts should be changed after 10 years, because age deteriorates the rubber, but chains don't have that requirement; its mileage only.
