check above the drivers seat headrest and on the side of the seat. If you don't see a little rectangular area that has SRS Airbag Written on it. you don't have side curtain air bags. but im pretty sure they're standard on an upper level vehicle like the pacifica

Go to the Chrysler website and put in your vehicle VIN number. In the owners area you will find a tab that takes you to the factory installed items and options for your Pacifica. It will tell you if side air bags are on the car along with everything else the factory installed.

If you're looking for the "side curtain" style airbags (they come down out of the roof structure, and not the seats), you will need to look along the top of the trim panels that cover the roof pillars... Most notably, the pillars that would be/should be marked with the "SRS Airbag" logo will be the front pillar (between the driver or passenger front door and the windshield) and the "B" or "C" pillars (B is between front and rear doors, C is behind rear doors). Another way to know for sure is to do some online research about your car and the standard equipment for your year and model (Limited, Touring, etc.) to see if your vehicle should be equipped with the curtain style air bags.

Goto the Chrysler web site and register as an owner. This is free. After this you should find a place that allows you to put in your vehicle VIN number (found near the windshield in front fo the drivers side on the dash. Enter the VIN and Chrysler will produce a list of all the options your vehicle had when it was manufactured. If side airbags were part of the car they will show up there. Another option is to call Chrysler at the phone number on the website for customer servic e and ask them, they can also tell you. This way there is no GUESSWORK, you will know the answer.
