I have a 2008 Dodge Ram. Some times the air blows out the vents, some times it does not. The blower works. The fresh air / recirculating air door works. The air is always cold. I had a mechanic look at it and he said when it does not blowout the dash, it should blow out the floor or defrost. This is not the case, when it is not working, you can hear the blower working but there is no air coming out of any of the three mentioned locations.

This is more than likely a vacume issue,vacume controls where the vent blows, feet, dash, panel.check under dash for loose or broke vacume lines.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7 Sport. I recently put in a new/used motor because my old one had a bad crankshaft. So after getting new motor in I started the truck and it ran great. I only ran it for about 5 seconds because I noticed I had a broken transmission line. I went back the next day and fixed the line. I went to start the truck back up and nothing happened.
