I've changed thermostat waterpump radiator reservoir and the surge line is completely open but my 2001 Cadillac DTS is still running hot someone please help. no white smoke from exhaust

do a combustion leak test to see if there are combustion gasses in the cooling system. kit is about 40 bucks and there are good you tube vids on the subject. if the test is positive, you probably have bad head gasket.
