2011 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L popping noise.

Loud popping noise coming from front axel. Only heard in
hot summer months after car sits in the sun. I’ve heard
different opinions. Cv, ball joint. I’m just not sure. Haven’t
tried anything up to this point. Where would you start?

did you figure out what the problem is? My car has the same exact issue. Only makes noise when it is really warm outside

Popping sounds from the front CV joints when turning indicates a bad CV joint.

mine did the same thing I was told it was the cv joint so I got it fixed it has made the noise after that but not as often as before
