Car temperature

I have a 2002 530i the car drives beautiful
and heats up perfectly but as I drive the car
the temp gage starts moving more towards
the cold side as if the engine has just been
started need help ???

Sounds like the thermostat is stuck open so engine is overcooling when driving. Fault should set for this like a P0128 for thermostat performance.
