Why will my keyless entry, sunroof, and radio not work?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought the car with a damaged title. Everything runs great. The only things that do not
function are the keyless entry, sunroof, radio, and horn.

Pull off your fuse box cover. There should be a diagram of all fuses and what they do. I would start checking he fuses for radio, horn, and sun roof. If your keyless entry is not working, I would change out the battery in your key fob.

I have checked all fuses and none seem to be bad. Should I change them anyway?

Also, the radio comes on, but there is no sound. You can load a disc or change the station, but there is still no sound. All of the speakers work properly, as I have tested them.

If your fuses are good then there's no sense in changing them out. I tried to google sun roof relay but I didn't find one. I read a post that said hold down the sunroof button for 30 seconds and it will reset the system. If that doesn't work, the other problem people were having was the sun roof motor was bad. They are $450-$500 on Ebay. As far as the radio goes, if you switch it from CD to radio the radio should play. If not, the internal amp may have quit. If your system has an external amp, check to see if it has a fuse.

I was just reading today that the key fob controls a lot of that stuff, and may need reprogramming. (I was looking because I, very smartly, laundered my key fob). Also, on my prior car, the radio went silent as a security measure; there is no use stealing it if it doesn't play. This may require contacting a dealer, or you might find posts on the web about how to program the fob. I would do that before buying a sunroof motor or am $800- $1200 amp.
