2011 LE Avalon door locks will not open.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2011 LE Avalon door unlock does not work, Driver side operates ok. Front
Passenger and both back doors will not unlock when unlocking all doors. With
all doors locked, if I try to unlock doors from the passenger handle or driver
side panel, the drivers side will unlock, others will not unlock. I disconnected
door actuators plugs on passenger and rear door doors then reconnected
each one separately, still would not work . Replaced front passenger door
lock, new assembly still system would not unlock the doors. Help!

You probably want to check/change your settings for the doors unlock.
Can not be a fuse, reason, if doors are unlocked manually I am able to lock all doors with control switch. I need that negative power to open locks but it is not there.
I have the same problem with my Avalon 2012 , driver door unlock with the remote or lock switch, but the others doors no , I have to unlock it manually,, any suggestions?
My 2011 Avalon Limited is having the same problem. Will not open passenger doors. Only drivers door. Can not even open with unlock button on door. But when I lock it, they will all lock.
Same problem-long time Toyota fan! No more!
This answer worked for my 2011 Avalon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVsO2TAMmmQ It is a YouTube video provided by a Toyota dealer in Minn. The video doesn't claim to solve the problem discussed in this thread, but it solved the exact problem described in this thread. Just turn on the ignition, on your remote, press the "door lock" and "door unlock" buttons simultaneously and hold for at least 5 seconds. Release them and try the door locks as usual. It solved the Smart key unlock function on each door, it solved the key fob unlock failure problem AND it solved the driver door unlock master function problem. It took less than 5 minutes. And it was free. And this after I spend countless hours online searching for somebody who knew the solution, not to mention the $129 diagnostic fee from my dealer, which resulted in a quote of $1230 to replace the body ECU.
I have the same problem with my 2011 Avalon and the dealer reset the computer and charged 119 and they worked for about 30 days
Harold and Carlos...how did you fix the problem. I am having the same issue with my 2012 Avalon. Cannot use the control to unlock the three doors ...only the driver side works. I am wondering if this should be a class action case. This should not happen....I am retired...no kids and no reason why the parts should wear out. Any ideas?? I am going to try the video suggestion....to see if it works. If not...what did you do to repair. I got an estimate of over $1500 to repair...that's crazy!!!
Ok...think I have solved the mystery. The problem stems from a draining battery. Check your battery...once the battery is changed...reset all the windows by holding down both back window buttons for about 30 seconds and the key fob reset like the video that was shared above.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVsO2TAMmmQ It is a YouTube video provided by a Toyota dealer in Minn. Everything should work fine once all is reset. DON'T go out and spend $1500 on changing the mechanisms.....it will take 3 minutes to fix once the battery is replaced for $0. You're Welcome!! :)
I have a 2011 Avalon Limited with the dreaded door lock scenario. The video posted by the MN Toyota dealer is for a Camry. The method DID NOT WORK on my Avalon.
