Whining noise from 2010 vw cc 2.0 turbo

My car has over 150000 miles on it,  and just got a
high pitched whine and check engine light
yesterday.....it also hiccups when I go to gas it for
turbo....I need help figuring out what it is:)

Check the turbo piping it may have popped off

See if you can locate the source...Does it seem like it''s coming from the lower left side? Could be a worn [stretched] cam chain...rubbing on metal...and CEL can be due to detected out of time relationship --cams to crank..just a guess...based on your mileage..

We had the same problem on our 09, ended being a number of things. I'm ready to drive it in the lake after 7000 dollars in repairs. I am done. Just got it back and lasted 3 hour and died almost got run down by a semi. Its a gorgeous car in side and out. I have been walking 5 months. for 3 hours of driving.
