2010 Ford Escape Air Conditioner Failing

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I have a 2010 Ford Escape. It has 91,000 miles on it and 2 days ago, the air conditioner was working fine. As I was driving, I noticed it was blowing like it normally does. I put my hand up and felt just a little cold air blowing. I turned the dial to #2 then #3 and it was the same, but when I turned it to #4 it was blowing out hard and cold. I have been reading all of the comments on the air conditioning but haven't seen anything where the air is still cold. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? Thank you!

oh no, I have never had any issues other than regular maintenance with my 2010 Ford Escape. I bought it 3 yrs old with 52K miles as a certified used car. Just recently have an issue with car not starting and it is not the battery as it is new. I think it might been a pin in steering column or ignition loose as all the lights, horn, etc come on. I have to wiggle the key and the push it in hard.
