2009 a4 2.0t - need used engine

Recently bought a 2009 a4 2.0t and was ripped off.
Needs new engine. Don't want to put another 4-5k
into a 2009 but love the car. Was teaching my
daughter how to drive and it was perfect for her to
do so. Any suggestions? sell it? I really want to
keep the car. What price can I expect to pay for a
used engine (without labor)?

A used engine can range anywhere from $1,200 on the low side and up to around $3,500.00 depends on the miles that is on the engine and some other factors. I think you would be better off selling your car and just picking up another used one.
