starter keeps starting after engine is cranked?

A little bit vague here. Do you mean the starter still spins after engine is running or actually still engaged on flywheel? Does the Bendix retract but starter keeps running? Need a bit more details, -- Thanks

I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. When you crank it , it will crank but still trying to crank while ruining. Replaced starter twice. Nobody can figure it out.

Just had this happen to me in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Had never done it before, but it has started cutting out at 60mph shortly after changing my exhaust. No connection to the problem is known of, have been told to change the ECM?
